Oh yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to riding Terry. Last year was a lot of fun and the trails were even better than I had expected. Thanks to everyone working to put this event on; see you up there.

Doubt the Doc is going to give me the go ahead for any real DH action. Undecided We'll see at 11am today.

Is this "stupid crazy" downhill, or fun for everyone riding?

I haven't seen the trails this year, so it's possible that they've changed since last summer. I can tell you that last summer there was an intermediate trail that wasn't crazy. I wouldn't exactly bring my hardtail SS up there, but my Nomad was plenty of bike for it.

FYI: Days of 76 is going on in Deadwood this weekend, so Deadwood will be a mess (parades etc.). If you're heading up to Terry you should probably avoid Deadwood, particularly Saturday morning. See you up there.

Those boys have a ton of work into the trails this year. Two DH trails and I beleive 2 or 3 Intermediate trails. Lots of work, some built with heavy equipment. Come on up and check it out.... There is always the Cat track too.... If not just come up, have a beer and ride the chair for the scenery.. THe only chance we have of making it an incredible mountain is for Terry to see that it make sense and money...
Also, there is a handful of us camping Friday and Sturday night in the area...... Hit me up if you are interested....

GOSH I HOPE WE SEE A GREAT TURNOUT! Please please everybody cruise up. Should be a blast!!

Last summer I rode all the trails on my Pitch. Granted I didn't do the big drops, but it worked.

so I checked out the terry peak website for whatever reason tonight... and I gotta say... having a mountain bike theme for their summer site is a very beautiful thing.

Ahhhh, what a fantastic time riding on saturday!  Wore myself out completely after 1 day of riding.  I must say, the new coarse is super gnar!  Dig the new jumps and mineshaft drops.  It truly is exciting to see the trail system expanding up there! Cool

Un-Flippin-believable trails! The new line "Grip Load" Is off the hook! The intermediate line was super fun for smaller travel bikes. There was even a 65 year old guy on an early 90's trek hardtail rockin the cat-tracks. He had a blast!

Chair lift accessed riding this close to home is awesome.

SPECIAL THANKS TO NDNR, kELLEY KURTZ, JOE PALMER, REID HANSEN, HARRISON TEUBER, CURT MONROE, LOGAN, JAKE RAU AND EVERYBODY ELSE THAT HAD SO MUCH WORK INTO THE TRAILS! tHEY WERE ABSOLUTELY BITCHIN'!

Thanks to Terry Peak of course as well!

Anyone else that didn't make it or was on the fence whether it would be fun for their type of skill level or riding preference should come on up and check it out. What a great group of enthusiasts!

The parking lot campfire and beverage consumption yil midnight was pretty great both nights too!

Please the more the merrier! Also, anyone else that had a great time should chime in on here too!!!!!

THANKS ALL!

What no pictures? Maybe I'll come out next time just to shoot some photos. I know everyone likes to see themselves in action. Still have a while before I can even think about hard riding. Sad

I'd like to say thanks to all involved and Terry Peak!  Get out and support this again the weekend of the 21st!  We had a great time riding DOWNHILL!  I think that is my new favorite word!  Even if you aren't riding get up and take a 5.00 ride to the top and check out the mile high view!  The bar was open, food was being served, did I mention the chairlift ride up the mountain to ride DOWNHILL!  I will try and post some video once I figure out how.  Once again, THANK YOU for all of your hard work to make this happen!

What an awesome weekend of riding. I would also like to thank everyone involved in the building of the trails along with lift and mountain operation. The comment that I kept hearing was that this was the most fun weekend of the whole summer. I certainly agree!! I believe if you are a mountain biker you NEED to get behind this. It would also help if the bike shops showed a little more interest! I want this kind of mountain biking in my area and will do everything that I can to support it.
