How long will the run be? Ride up or down? I might try to put a team together for it.

1.25 mile loop opening run, then a 4 mile bike lap (do it twice), then another 1.25 mile run.

The run does not go all the way to the highest point!  The ride hits the highest point of Cowboy Hill (the north summit, not the tower summit) so you do summit twice! So it is all up, then down.....nature of the Hill.

Each loop (opening run, 2 loops of the bike loop, final run loop) comes through the S/F transition area....

The trail run section is fully marked, the bike loop is marked as well.  There will be course marshals at the two important intersections to keep folks from getting lost.  Conditions should be fine, I'll head up there this afternoon to double check markings and get a read on the trail surface.

The event is free, come on out to spectate or to participate.  Tell your pals.  If you don't like running, just do the bike loops, if you don't like biking (what are you doing on BHMBA.org if that's the case?) then just run!

I'll have some chili for after the race.

9am PROMPT start time, East side of Hanson Larson Memorial Park (Han-Lar Park) on M hill.

Just re-double checked all the markings, some A$$ Hat took down over half my markings and stole a couple hundred bucks worth of signage.  Thans, A$$ Hat.  REWARD to the recovery of my signage.  DOUBLE REWARD to frontier justice resulting in hard times for said A$$ Hat.  No, I am not asking for physical harm to befall them.  But do get my signs back if you can.

The course is back to fully marked, and the race is looking to have perfect weather and trail conditions.  Keep in mind, it is fine to show up just for some fun, do one lap by bike and skip all the running if you'd rather.  Just come be sociable, eat some chili and enjoy the Han-Lar Park Trails on M Hill.  Come see some old pals, and make new memories.  Somebody bring a camera and snap a few candid shots.

See you all in the morning!  Race starts at 9, I'll be there by 8 for registration.

Holy big turn out, Nice work Tim.

If I was still running and could pedal my bike six miles I would have participated as well.  Alas I haven't been running lately and I can barely pedal my bike up M-hill once.

Nice event though...

Tim's the boss around these parts, and here is a day in the life of "The Boss":

Run a bike shop, like a boss
Fix a flat tire, like a boss
Eat some tallow, like a boss
Shun the carbs, like a boss
Get a pinch flat, like a boss
Run a race, like a boss
Check the facebook, like a boss
Eat some liver, like a boss
Cook some beef heart, like a boss
Rock the Enduro, like a boss
Hit the 5-0, like a boss
All on fat, like a boss
And some water, like a boss
Take a nap, like a boss
Drink some coffee, like a boss
Brush a Husky, like a boss
Bash thieves, like a boss
Burn a donut, like a boss
Hit the restroom, like a boss
Then the wood stool, like a boss
Arm alarms, like a boss
Drive a van, like a boss
Ride on M-Hill, like a boss
Call it good, like a boss

Yep, that is what a day in the life of "The Boss" is like.  Word.  Man I crack myself up.
