The 2009 cycling season is underway, and it’s time to join the BHMBA or renew your BHMBA membership.

BHMBA membership benefits include discounts at area bike shops and retailers, provides a top notch website and forums with free listings for BHMBA members as well as provides information regarding group rides, events and various social activities.

But the biggest benefit is being part of a club that gets so much done. In 2009, BHMBA will host or support several mountain biking events for riders of all abilities. These events will draw visitors, promote a healthy community, and provide riding opportunities for all ages and abilities.

The BHMBA has secured funding for trail advocacy and construction in Rapid City and the surrounding Black Hills. Keep an eye out several new miles of trails in the heart of Rapid City and just west of Rapid City.

Thanks to the dedication of IMBA, Trail Solution, Trail Arts, and the BHMBA trail builders, more of the good stuff is on the way.

So don’t just sit there…join the BHMBA and let the good times roll!!

UPDATE: Due to trail conditions, the Buzzard’s Roost and Storm Mt. races have been swapped.
