Buzzard’s Roost Trail Work 2/8/09 Update

We had a great turnout for the work day at Buzzard’s Roost. 16 people were on hand to clear the corridor for a new trail.
Jackson Blvd Redesign

The SD Department of Transportation recently held a meeting to discuss the upcoming construction work planned for Jackson Blvd in Rapid City. Representatives of BHMBA were on hand to promote accomodations for cyclists, either in the form of wider outer lanes, dedicated bike lanes, or a wide sidewalk. DOT will be taking comments from concerned citizens until Feb. 10; comment forms are available at Acme Bicycles. Please take a moment to let DOT know that you care about improving the ability of cyclists to get around Rapid City.
