BHMBA is holding trail work days this Friday and Saturday (11/28 and 11/29) at Buzzard’s Roost from 8-11 AM. We’re building new trail out there and we could use some help. The trail is in an area that seems to clear quickly after a snowfall so we should have some nice winter riding there when it’s completed. Please bring a sturdy rake, McLeod, or Pulaski if you can to ensure that everyone has a tool to use. If you’re interested in purchasing a McLeod or Pulaski please contact Tim at Acme Bicycles as he’s planning a tool order soon. Wear work clothes with boots, gloves, and eye protection.

M-Hill Work Day 11/22/08

What: “Cowboy Hill” aka “M Hill” trail work day.

When:  Saturday November 22nd.  10am to 2PM (or whatever works for your schedule)

Why: To give Trail Solutions and Hansen-Larson a hand at a very large project, create a top notch riding area, gain a sense of “ownership”

Please meet at the gate next to the “climbing” area on the southeast corner of the property, just west of the “Executive Golf Course”.  Parking may be limited, or the lot muddy so either park by the gate or near the executive Golf Course.

Work could include hand cutting trail, creating technical features, picking up garbage, etc..  It all needs to be done, and we’ll find out what Joey needs from us.  Boots, gloves, and safety glasses are a GREAT idea and need to be worn.  Beverages and snacks will be provided. If you have tools such as Pulaskis, McLeods, sturdy rakes please bring them.
